HELENE LUNDBYE PETERSEN

Helene Lundbye Petersen's practice is about building new spaces for life.

"A space can be both in our consciousness; in how we meet one another as well as it can be a physical place. Each of my spaces has colours that explore different aspects of life based on ‘calligraphic manuscripts’ – empty books that I find to write in by hand from the first to the last page. I wrote my first space – White – in November 2011 in New York and this book serves as the foundation for all the other books – just as white light broken by a prism unfolds all other colours."
